Feb 9, 2020 · I replaced my old set top box with a Xi6 in October of last year. Ever since then, when I turn on the TV, all I get is a blank screen. When I reset the box (unplug the power) I get the normal mess... Just got it to work. When it asks for the model of the cable box enter it from the x1 box and hit enter and it will give you choices. Don't select that model, it won't work, select Xfinity X1 from that screen and it will work.
