Nov 30, 2021 · 2017 Acadia Limited AWD has progressively gotten more frequent engine shuttering at low end speeds of roughly 35-45 mph and as of today was in the 60-70 mph range. The issue started about 2-3 months ago. When the gas pedal is depressed the issue stops instantly. The last week or so its beginning to happen more often. I have a 2017 Acadia Denali with ~133,000 miles. About two months ago I noticed a jerking/shuddering at highway speeds, generally between 50-65mph. This only happens under light acceleration or cruising up a slight incline. If I let off the gas or accelerate harder it goes away.We start to accelerate and the car moves, then there's a hesitation in the acceleration. Pressing the gas pedal further gets it out of this lull, as will waiting for a 1/2 second with the gas pedal in the same position. If the vibration is being transmitted into the steering, it's highly likely the suspect is at the front end of your vehicle. Having the tires rotated, like what RBarrios has suggested will help identify if the problem follows the (problem) wheel to the back of the vehicle, or if the problem 'stays' up at the front-end.
